The Odyssey is an alterations and additions project that focused on transforming an existing Mediterranean-style house in Fresnaye, a prestigious area on Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard. The renovation aimed to enhance the home’s functionality and aesthetic appeal while maintaining the essence of its original architectural style.
Given its prime location, the project sought to modernize the property without compromising its character, ensuring that the updates seamlessly blended with the existing structure.
Careful attention was given to integrating contemporary design elements that complemented the home’s Mediterranean charm. These thoughtful modifications not only refreshed the property but also maximized its connection to the stunning natural surroundings. The result is a refined living space that embraces both tradition and modernity, allowing residents to fully enjoy the breathtaking views over Bantry Bay.
