The upgrading and additions to the Philippi Stadium formed part of the 2009 Confederations Cup and the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The site was earmarked as one of two venue-specific training sites (VSTS) in the greater Cape Town area. This development comprises of three floors of retail with dedicated parking.
